Gabriela Gordillo
Gabriela Gordillo ist Medienkünstlerin, geboren in Mexiko-Stadt und lebt seit 2015 in Österreich. Sie ist Absolventin des BA-Studiums Visuelle Kommunikation am Centro de Diseño, Cine y Televisión (2014) in Mexiko-Stadt und des MA-Studiums Interface Cultures an der Kunstuniversität Linz (2018).
Ihre Arbeit basiert auf einem transdisziplinären Ansatz, der Design, Performance und Klangkunst umfasst und sich um die Themen Verschiebung, Dialog und Übersetzung zwischen verschiedenen Medien dreht.
Gabriela Gordillo is a media artist, born in Mexico City, based in Austria since 2015. She graduated from Visual Communication BA at the Centro de Diseño, Cine y Televisión (2014) in Mexico City and Interface Cultures MA at the Kunstuniversität Linz (2018).
Her work is based in a trans-disciplinary approach that involves design, performance and sound art that revolves around the topics of displacement, dialogue and translation between different media.
